Welcome to Gurucool! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Gurucool educational video platform and services (the "Service") available at www.gurucoolin.com and related mobile applications. By creating an account or using Gurucool, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other guidelines we may provide. If you do not agree, please do not use Gurucool.

This document is divided into two parts: Part I applies to general users and subscribers of Gurucool, and Part II applies to content creators who upload or contribute content to Gurucool. Content creators are also Gurucool users, so both Part I and Part II apply to them. Please read both sections carefully if you are a content creator.

Part I: Terms for General Users and Subscribers

1. Account Creation and Access

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your region) to create a Gurucool account. Minors may only use Gurucool under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on the minor's behalf.

Account Registration: When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. Gurucool is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

Account Usage: Your account is personal to you. You agree not to share your login details with others outside your household or allow others to access the Service using your credentials. Gurucool may limit the number of simultaneous devices or streams per account according to your subscription plan (if applicable).

2. Subscription, Payments, and Refunds

Subscription Plans: Gurucool offers subscription-based access to its educational video content and course packages. By subscribing, you gain access to Gurucool's course library as per your plan. Details of available plans and their pricing are provided on the Gurucool website or app.

Billing and Payment: You must provide a valid payment method and authorize Gurucool to charge the subscription fee to that method. Subscription fees will be charged in advance on a recurring basis. If a payment fails, Gurucool may suspend your access until the payment is successful. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or transaction fees.

Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid period; you will retain access until that billing period expires. To the extent permitted by law, payments are non-refundable, and Gurucool will not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods.

Changes to Fees or Plans: Gurucool may change subscription fees or introduce new plans. Such changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the new fee takes effect.

Free Trials and Promotions: Free trials and promotions are subject to these Terms. After a free trial ends, your subscription will auto-renew unless you cancel.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Gurucool, you agree to do so lawfully and respectfully. You may access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. In using Gurucool, you are NOT allowed to:

Unauthorized Copying or Distribution: Reproduce, record, stream outside the Service, publicly display, transmit, or distribute Gurucool content except as allowed by the Service's features. All content is for your personal viewing only.

Circumvention and Tampering: Attempt to circumvent any content protection or digital rights management measures.

No Reverse Engineering: Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Gurucool platform or apps.

Prohibited Content/Behavior: Upload, post, or transmit any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content. Do not introduce malware or interfere with others' use of the Service.

Compliance with Laws: Use Gurucool in accordance with all applicable laws of India.

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.

4. Content Access and Restrictions

License to Use Content: Gurucool grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the educational videos and courses for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Geographic Limits: Gurucool content is primarily licensed for viewers in India. Attempting to access content from outside India using VPNs or other means may violate these Terms.

Device Limits: The number of simultaneous streams may be limited by your subscription plan.

Content Ownership: All educational videos, courses, and content on Gurucool are owned by Gurucool or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws. You shall not download, copy, or save content except for any offline viewing feature provided, and you may not remove copyright notices.

Content Changes: Gurucool reserves the right to add, remove, or modify content at any time.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal Data: Gurucool collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Use of Data: By using Gurucool, you agree that we may collect and use technical data to improve the Service. We use cookies as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "As Is": Gurucool is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

No Indirect Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gurucool will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Cap on Liability: Gurucool's total liability shall not exceed the amount of subscription fees you paid in the three (3) months prior to the claim (or INR 5,000 if no fees were paid).

7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Jurisdiction: Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Informal Resolution: Please contact support first to resolve issues amicably.

8. Termination

By You: You may cancel your account at any time.

By Gurucool: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the Service and content ceases. No refunds will be provided except where required by law.
